These are my photos of the hike to 'the Wave' and the Wave itself from my first visit. The color in this sandstone formation is brilliant, but just to the north (I think) of it was an equally intriguing slope of striped stone. I LOVE climbing around on rocks, and ha a blast exploring and photographing the area.
The silhouette photo is Balanced Rock near the visitor center.
I couldn't resist including some photos with my cute red mustang - what a happy surprise it was to have this car for my visit. They ran out of economy cars. Imagine that!
