In June I visited my good friend and fellow veterinarian, Anne Grumney, on Sanibel Island. Sanibel is HOT in June, and the famous shells are limited compared to a winter beach. Sanibel in June is also NOT crowded, the afternoon thunder storms are beautiful, and there are baby matinees and birds to be found. Annie showed me around her beloved island, and of course I had my camera in hand at all times!
